He became famous for his comedic and energetic Let's Play videos, particularly focused on horror and indie games. PewDiePie holds the title for the most-subscribed individual YouTuber, with over 110 million subscribers.
In 2017 and 2018, PewDiePie faced significant controversy over accusations of using anti-Semitic imagery and making offensive jokes, which led to Disney and YouTube cutting ties with him. Despite these setbacks, he maintained a massive fanbase and continued to grow his channel.
