Dua Lipa(yes, that's her real name!) was born on August 22, 1995, in London, to Albanian parents from Kosovo. She grew up listening to her father, a musician, and fell in love with music early on. She moved to Kosovo when she was 11 but returned to London at 15 to pursue her music career. 🎶
Her rise to fame was quick! Dua started posting song covers on YouTube, which caught the attention of big record labels. In 2017, she released her debut album, including the mega-hit "New Rules". This song gave her global recognition 🌍 and became an anthem for women.
